WEBMETHODS ENTIREX

Extend the Value of Your Existing Systems to the Future

webmethods EntireX is one of the most robust service enablement technologies on the market, providing truly bi-directional service wrapping for a unique range of mainframe environments. EntireX manages interactions for SOA-enabled and non-SOA-enabled systems in time-critical user applications. Its powerful and easy-to-use wrapping technology and flexible programming interfaces turn existing application functions into business or Web services rapidly.

Re-Use and Extend Core Systems to a Service-Oriented Architecture
EntireX is one of the key components of the webMethods Application Modernization SOA Edition. It enables easy transition to a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA). Eclipse based wizards allow users to enable existing applications in record time to not only act as service providers but also as service consumers – in a Web service, .NET, Java, or even another environment. And, with EntireX users can be sure to keep the high level of stability and performance they have come to expect from vital systems.

EntireX supports relevant SOA standards, like SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol), WSDL (Web Service Description Language) and UDDI (Universal Description, Discovery and Integration). With a few clicks of the mouse, SOAP structures and WSDL description can automatically be generated from existing source code directly from within the Eclipse environment. Absolutely no coding is required for this.

The webMethods Application Modernization SOA Edition includes products to support service enablement, governance, and deployment of mainframe assets within an enterprise-scale SOA. The SOA Edition is comprised of the following products: webMethods ApplinX, webMethods EntireX, webMethods Enterprise Service Bus and webMethods CentraSite.
