CFO Arnd Zinnhardt’s contract renewed for five years

Darmstadt, Germany , 7/28/2011

The Supervisory Board of Software AG in yesterday’s meeting renewed the appointment of Arnd Zinnhardt as CFO of the company. Mr. Zinnhardt has signed a new five year contract, until 2016.

Mr. Zinnhardt joined the Board at Software AG in 2002 as CFO. In addition, he was appointed as company Labor Director this year and his responsibilities include finance and controlling, human resources, investor relations and mergers & acquisitions amongst others. Karl-Heinz Streibich, CEO, welcomed the decision of the Supervisory Board: "I am delighted to continue the long-standing and successful working relationship with Arnd Zinnhardt."

On the same occasion, Software AG has reduced the Executive Board to three members: Karl-Heinz Streibich (CEO), Arnd Zinnhardt (CFO) and Wolfram Jost (Research and Development).

David Broadbent has left the Executive Board with immediate effect. Mr. Broadbent was responsible for product sales in EMEA (outside the German speaking countries). Responsibility for this region has been taken over by Darren Roos, until now the head of sales in Benelux and Scandinavia.
