Software AG wins European Business Award for international growth strategy

• Software AG is winner of the HSBC International Growth Strategy of the Year at the European Business Awards 2011
• Award reflects the huge growth of the company over the past 18 month after launch of the new Business Process Excellence (BPE) product portfolio

Software AG, a leading provider of Business Process Excellence (BPE) solutions, was confirmed as winner of the HSBC International Growth Strategy of the Year at the European Business Awards 2011 in Barcelona. In a hotly-contested category, the accolade reflected Software AG’s huge growth over the past 18 months following the launch of its cutting-edge BPE product portfolio. This saw group turnover increase by 32 per cent year on year, driven by a 34 per cent growth in the BPE business line, with the company returning over €1 billion revenue in 2010, one year ahead of plan.
