University Relations Day
Software AG invited professors from all over the world to a University Relations Day at Software AG Headquarters in Darmstadt. 35 guests from all over Germany and surrounding countries came to see the latest developments in Software AG and the University Relations Program.
First, Matthias Rippert, VP of Systems Engineering, and Jörg Klückmann, Head of Process Intelligence Marketing, captivated the audience with their presentations on Business Process Excelence. During lunch, everyone had the chance to discuss what they had seen and heard and have a look at the energy grid showcase Software AG had presented at the CeBIT. After all guests had satisfied their hunger they watched in awe as Karl-Heinz Streibich, CEO, presented the Software AG strategy and answered resulting questions. Next, Jürgen Powik, director of Unviersity Relations, presented the new University Relations Program with all its different options and components. Following Mr. Powik, Professor Rüdiger Buck-Emden had kindly agreed to be the reference speaker at the event. He talked about his experiences with the Campus Connect project that he had completed with his students this past semester. The event was then concluded with a presentation of the Campus Connect Sample Solution by Benjamin Müller and Moritz Winzig, two student employees in the University Relations team. Most guests stayed a while longer to discuss what they had seen in the various interesting presentations.
