The package offering comprises the ARIS key products such as ARIS Process Performance Manager (ARIS PPM) and ARIS Performance Dashboard (APD) for the measurement, analysis and optimization of business processes.
Scenario
The ARIS Education Package Scenario is that of a large virtual car manufacturer "UNITED MOTORS GROUP"(UMG). UMG is a completely modeled business, operating across 16 countries with partners in more than 80 national markets. In addition to the car manufacturing, UMG also offers financial services through their UNITED MOTORS GROUP BANK and car rentals.
Spread out over twelve exercises of each approximately 90 minutes, students analyze and measure performance of the UMG Processes.
The first lessons are step by step tutorials introducing students to the software. Once students are familiar with ARIS they will be confronted with more complex exercises that require the knowledge gained from the tutorials. To be able to start with the next lesson the last one must be completed - but do not worry, if students were unable to complete the last exercise on time there are scripts available that will prepare the scenario for the next step.

ARIS Process Performance Manager is a unique tool that enables enterprises to measure, analyze and optimize the performance and structure of their operational business processes. ARIS PPM extracts runtime data from the relevant source systems, e.g. ERP, workflow, or legacy systems. It then transforms the process data in graphical process models and loads them into its process warehouse for calculating the defined process performance indicators. That runtime process repository represents the process behavior and the information base for continuous process improvement.
ARIS MashZone enables departmental users to create mashups (dashboards) for evaluating a range of data. Employees gain better insights and have more freedom when it comes to preparing/presenting key performance indicators relevant to the decision-making process.
Typical ARIS MashZone scenarios include evaluation of marketing campaigns, competitor analysis, customer satisfaction analysis, and financial analysis. Mashups aimed specifically at senior management can also be created.
