ARIS Education Package (AEP) for Process Design and Analysis

Business Process Design refers to the alignment of a company's processes with market needs and requirements, including the design, analysis, and optimization of processes as part of a continuous improvement loop.

The package offering encompasses the ARIS key products to analyze, optimize and simulate business processes. Depending on the objective and the focus of the curriculum and courses, the students are able to practice on information modeling, business process modeling and business process optimization in a preconfigured scenario.

Included Products

ARIS Business Architect serves in this offering as a central repository for a formal, model-driven requirements analysis for an automated performance management solution. The requirements are formalized in various model types as well as external documents linked into the ARIS repository. The formalized requirements in form of models support not only the implementation by a precise scoping and detailed design of the final solution before starting the deployment, but also it supports the process improvement initiatives based on the results of process performance measurements.
Furthermore, this product keeps the project documentation in the ARIS repository and on a process-oriented level, so that also non-expert users understand the solution and articulate further requirements.

ARIS Simulator is an add-on on to ARIS Business Architect. It enables process managers to simulate process models using what-ifscenarios to determine the best practice according to the needs, such as shortening the cycle time, improving the process quality or reducing the process costs.

ARIS Business Publisher guarantees permanent, low-cost availability of process information or IT architectures via web-based process portals. Due to rights-based and role-based access to process models, content is only displayed to the relevant target group. This prevents users from being overwhelmed and protects critical process knowledge. All portal content is dynamically generated when the user signs in, minimizing export times and guaranteeing up-to-the-minute process information for decision making.

ARIS Business Server is the database in which all data used in the other ARIS programms is stored.
