ARIS for Microsoft BizTalk offers seamless integration between business and technical BPM. After quick and easy modeling in ARIS SOA Architect, you can export a process at the push of a button as a Microsoft Visual Studio® .NET project. Tight integration between ARIS SOA Architect and the Microsoft BizTalk environment reduces your time and cost to implement processes.
EPC transformation
If you use EPC to represent workflows, you can refine those process models by adding SOA-relevant features, such as business data or calls to Web services. ARIS will automatically create a technical BPEL model from the EPC.
Fast process implementation
When the BPEL or BPMN model is complete, ARIS for Microsoft BizTalk automatically generates a Microsoft Visual Studio® project, which can be edited quickly by IT staff. Software engineers no longer have to create a new BizTalk orchestration from the ground up.
Instead, they simply open the Visual Studio® project to quickly access the work already done and then add the required technical details. The project is then compiled, tested and installed on a BizTalk server.
BPMN transformation
Alternately, if you prefer BPMN, you can use a business process diagram to model process flow and technical details, such as sending messages or branch conditions.
Central ARIS repository
ARIS for Microsoft BizTalk improves cooperation between business and IT. Non-technical staff models their processes in the intuitive ARIS environment, while IT works in the same environment to create technical processes that reflect the business workflow. Shared use of the central ARIS repository helps prevent misunderstandings and lost information.
