With webMethods 9, we’ve integrated webMethods with Terracotta, a Software AG company and the leader in in-memory technologies for enterprise big data. That means unsurpassed scalability for webMethods. For example:
- Local distributed data caching increases performance and fault tolerance and reduces I/O bottlenecks
- Applications can access data in-memory—multiple terabytes of data can be retrieved in micro-seconds
- Very large XML documents can be processed in-memory—that means no more iterations by selectively moving chunks into memory
