Metadata analysis
Software AG provides a unique process-driven approach and methodology to analyze your data, processes and business rules. During the pre-MDM discovery phase, you can quickly and easily retrieve as well as consolidate, report and analyze metadata from current repositories by using OneData’s MetaMap features. You’ll gain a comprehensive and actionable view of the data.
Use our ARIS process analysis tools, combined with metadata analysis, to holistically define process and master data requirements. Resulting logical data definitions can be converted into a physical master data model used by OneData.
Reporting
Create and publish reports using the built-in metadata management reporting wizard. Since OneData’s repository is open and non-proprietary, you also can create reports using any third-party reporting tool. Customized reports on the metadata content, such as user/role allocations and workflow rules and associations, are also easy to produce.
Metadata modeling
Define your own metadata model or import an existing model from another tool or database. Save time with pre-built template models. Either way, your metadata model stays as-is in the back-end and is open to access by other applications and software. You can easily extend model at any time with the assurance that the user interface will adapt accordingly.
