Worldwide, Software AG is one of the 25 largest providers of enterprise software. In Europe, the Company is positioned at fourth place. This was corroborated by the “Truffle 100 Europe” report published in October 2011(www.truffle100.com) by the European Commission, which rated the 100 largest software companies in Europe. The rating was based on global software revenues, total revenues generated in 2010 as well as the number of headcount in R&D. In Germany, Software AG is already the second-largest provider of enterprise software. In the market segment for infrastructure software for business processes, Software AG is the largest independent provider and is one of the three largest providers worldwide.
