Conference Tips

Take a little time to familiarize yourself with the conference venue.

Before the Event:

  • Get the lowest room rate. Make sure to mention that you are attending Software AG ProcessWorld 2011 when reserving your room by using the password "ProcessWorld 2011"
  • Save 25%. Sign up for pre-conference training. More details coming soon!
  • Grab a group – Register 5 or 10 people from your company and benefit from our special group discounts.
  • Make sure to study the agenda before conference day and decide which track sessions you wish to attend.
  • Make plans to meet with your key Software AG and executives.
  • Network! Use ProcessWorld 2011 as a way to learn from the success of your peers in other organizations.
  • Don't forget to pack business cards! You'll need them when networking and making new contacts.
  • Take a little time to familiarize yourself with the conference venue and the regional area. Make mental notes on some things you might enjoy when relaxing during non-conference times – sometimes it helps to have ideas in mind. But stay open to unexpected opportunities that may come your way.
  • Get some sleep! Try to get some rest before conference days to make the most of your experience. Be sure to save some energy for the Tuesday night Customer Celebration party!

During the conference:

  • Network, network, network. Use this unique opportunity to meet and learn from the who's who of IT.
  • Wear your name tag! It lets people know who you are, and can be a good conversation starter.
  • Make sure to have a plan before each morning begins. Know which sessions you want to attend, and make a note of event times and locations—like lunches and special events.
  • Don't miss the General Sessions. They're interesting, motivating and informational; and they're frequently the topic of conversation later.
  • Arrive early at the sessions to get a good seat.
  • Remember to turn off your cell phone or set it to vibrate during sessions.
  • Take advantage of live demos. The exhibition is a don't-miss event.
  • Don't miss the Customer Celebration Party – it's always a great opportunity to unwind and talk with other attendees.
  • Set a goal to recall three new things you learned each day.
  • Have fun!
