Streibich

Karl-Heinz Streibich

Chief Executive Officer, Software AG

Chairman of the Group Executive Board
Karl-Heinz Streibich, born in 1952, assumed the position of CEO of Software AG in October 2003. In this role he is also responsible for the following functions: Corporate Marketing; Audit, Processes; Quality; Legal Affairs; Corporate Office and Corporate Communications.

Before joining Software AG, he served as deputy Chairman of the Board at T-Systems GmbH. Mr. Streibich launched his career in 1981 at Dow Chemical Company in Rheinmünster, Germany as a software development engineer.

His next assignment took him to ITT Industries in London as a Product Marketing Manager, in 1984. He then joined ITT-SEL AG (now Alcatel-Lucent) in Germany as Managing Director of the PC business.

In 1989, he joined Daimler Benz AG, where he served in several IT related executive positions. These included deputy Member of the Board at AEG Olympia Office GmbH, Chairman of the Board of debis Systemhaus DCS (Distributed Computing Services) GmbH and VP of Sales and Services at debis Systemhaus CCS (Computer and Communications Services).

In 1996, he assumed a seat on the debis Systemhaus GmbH Board of Directors. From 2000 to 2002, he served as Chairman of the Board at debis Systemhaus where he was also responsible for the integration of debis Systemhaus GmbH with T-Systems GmbH, a division of Deutsche Telekom.

Mr. Streibich holds a degree in communications engineering (Dipl.-Ing. Nachrichtentechnik) from the Offenburg University of Applied Sciences, Germany.

Dr. Wolfram Jost

Dr. rer. Nat. Wolfram Jost, born on August 6, 1962, has been a member of the management board at IDS Scheer AG in Saarbrücken since October 2000, responsible for Product Strategy and Development.

Dr. Jost studied business economics, majoring in economic information science and marketing, at the University of the Saarland, from October 1983 to April 1988. After graduation in 1988 Dr. Jost worked for the Institute of Economic Information Science (IWi) at the University of the Saarland, where his duties included supervising and holding classes, heading projects in the field of Computer Integrated Manufacturing and organizing scientific congresses.

Dr. Jost completed his doctoral thesis at the Law and Economics Faculty at the University of the Saarland in November 1992 on the topic of "Computer-based CIM Planning - Conception and Realization of a Tool for Analyzing and Planning CIM Systems".

In 1992 Dr. Jost joined IDS Prof. Scheer GmbH, Saarbrücken (which became IDS Scheer AG in May 1999). Here he was initially the head of ARIS Product Development before taking over as the head of ARIS Product Strategy in 1998.

In 1994 he was promoted to senior management level, a post he held until he was appointed to the management board.

Dr. Jost has written numerous articles for books and magazines and has also (co)authored more than ten specialist books.

Ivo Totev

Ivo Totev, born in 1967, was appointed to the Management Board of Software AG in March 2009. In August 2010, he moved to the Group Executive Board. Ivo Totev is responsible for the Global Consulting Business (excluding Germany, Austria, Switzerland). In addition, he is responsible for the Global Support units and the whole IT infrastructure of Software AG.

Ivo Totev has been with Software AG since 2005 and was previously a member of the extended Management Board, where he served as Chief Marketing Officer with responsibility for global marketing product management, product marketing, and corporate marketing.

After graduating university in 1994 with a degree in Electrical Engineering, Ivo Totev began his career at Progress Software. Following that, he worked for Forté Software, where he assisted with the launch of their German operations. Later, he worked for Sun Microsystems, where he served as Technology Evangelist, responsible for the company strategy and vision in the Java market. Ivo Totev then worked for SAP AG from 2003 to 2004, where he was responsible for product marketing for the NetWeaver Developer platform.

Martin Kolbe

Holding a graduate degree in computer science and training as a commercial specialist for industrial applications, Martin Kolbe has a broad range of experience in the area of software development. He has managed complex international IT projects, in particular those involving implementing standard software systems and building centrally managed networks. Before joining the Kühne + Nagel organization, he was CIO of the business unit at a global logistics company.

Martin Kolbe is not only responsible for global IT development and implementation for the Kühne + Nagel Group, but also for the company's competence center for information technology located in Hamburg, Germany.

Mr. Kolbe was appointed Chief Information Officer and became a member of the Management Board at Kühne + Nagel International AG on November 1, 2005.

Author, Speaker and Advisor on Business Model Innovation

Alexander Osterwalder co-authored Business Model Generation, a global bestseller on the topic of business model innovation, together with Professor Yves Pigneur. His Business Model Canvas, a tool to visualize, challenge and (re-) invent business models is used by leading organizations around the world, like 3M, Ericsson, PwC, and many more. Alexander is a frequent keynote speaker and has held guest lectures in top universities around the world, including Stanford, Berkeley and HEC. He holds a PhD from HEC Lausanne, Switzerland, and is a founding member of The Constellation, a global not-for-profit organization aiming to make HIV/AIDS and Malaria history.

As Executive Director for Business Process Management (BPM) at Accenture, Dr. Mathias Kirchmer leads the global BPM-Lifecycle Practice, as well as the program for the development of Accenture's Business Process Reference Models across industries and functional areas. His special field of expertise is to establish BPM capabilities that deliver both, immediate benefits as well as sustainable competitive advantages.

Before joining Accenture, Dr. Kirchmer had been for 18 years with IDS Scheer, a leading provider of business process excellence solutions, known for its BPM Software, the ARIS Platform. He was member of the Extended Executive Board, including roles as CEO Americas, Japan, and Chief Innovation and Marketing Officer.
During his professional career Dr. Kirchmer has developed deep knowledge in approaches, methods, tools and software for the design, implementation, execution and controlling of business processes. He has applied this know how in companies of various sizes and industries around the world.
