Optimize performance through data partitioning and distributed transactions

By distributing Adabas transactions across multiple files or databases, you can improve the performance of your mission-critical Adabas database.

Adabas Vista, a powerful data partitioning tool lets you separate very large Adabas files into multiple smaller physical files, called “vista files”—with no changes to the application. The application sees only one file but Vista distributes the query to the correct “vista file” thereby reducing the bottlenecks that come from heavy access on a single file.

Using Adabas Transaction Manager, you can synchronize Adabas transaction with other Adabas databases, or even DB2, through the use of two-phase commit technology, increasing system responsiveness for your business.
