Hello again. Since our last newsletter in the spring we have had a change of government, a new winner of the football world cup and Take That have reformed. The economic environment remains challenging.
Natural and Adabas systems continue to service our enterprise customers with business critical indeed, often mission critical transactions. And despite the fact that the people that keep these systems relevant to business needs and running continue to make a vital contribution to their enterprises, you are often challenged with delivering more for the same or less.
This edition of the newsletter focuses on new capabilities that may be able to help. The sections on Natural One and Optimise in particular are directly relevant to the development and operational communities providing them with modern and productive tools with which to get more done.
Software AG is responding to the commercial pressures which our customers are experiencing by introducing new and innovative ways of licensing these tools which can support a solid business case and a return on investment of 12 months or less.
We hope you feel that we are doing the right things, but if not, other sections cover ways in which you can influence Software AG product direction either on line or in person via the user group.
I hope you enjoy the content of this newsletter. As ever please do not hesitate to contact me should you have any comments or suggestions.
