American Depositary Receipt
Software AG Corporation has established a Level I American Depositary Receipt (ADR) Program. ADRs are negotiable US certificates evidencing ownership of shares for a non-U.S. company. They enable US investors to acquire and trade non-US securities denominated in US dollars. The Level I ADR Program will enable over-the-counter (OTC) trading of unlisted ADRs representing the Software AG stock. Software AG will use the OTCQX platform, a premier market place for over-the-counter business in the US.
The purpose of the Level I ADR Program is to encourage foreign investments into our stock through the U.S. over-the-counter market, especially in the U.S.
