Karl-Heinz Streibich, born in 1952, assumed the position of CEO of Software AG in October 2003. In this role he is also responsible for the following functions: Group Executive Board, Global Business Development, Corporate Marketing, Corporate Communications, Global Legal, Audit/Processes & Quality; Corporate Office and Top Management Development.
Before joining Software AG, he served as deputy Chairman of the Board at T-Systems GmbH, a division of Deutsche Telekom.
Mr. Streibich launched his career in 1981 at Dow Chemical Company in Rheinmünster, Ger-many, as a software development engineer.
His next assignment took him to ITT Industries in London as a Product Marketing Manager, in 1984. In 1987 joined ITT-SEL AG (now Alcatel-Lucent) in Germany as Managing Director of the PC business. In 1989, he joined Daimler Benz AG, where he served in several IT related executive positions. These included Deputy Member of the Board at AEG Olympia Office GmbH, Chairman of the Board of debis Systemhaus DCS (Distributed Computing Services) GmbH and VP of Sales and Services at debis Systemhaus CCS (Computer and Communications Services). In 1996, he assumed a seat on the debis Systemhaus GmbH Board of Directors. From 2000 to 2003, he served as Chairman of the Board at debis Systemhaus where he was also responsible for the integration of debis Systemhaus GmbH with T-Systems GmbH.
Mr. Streibich holds a degree in communications engineering (Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Nachrichtentechnik) from the Offenburg University of Applied Sciences, Germany.
Arnd Zinnhardt *

Arnd Zinnhardt, born in 1962, has been a member of the Management Board of Software AG since May 2002 and is responsible for the following departments: Finance, Controlling, Taxes, Treasury, Business Operations, Investor Relations, Mergers & Acquisitions and Global Purchasing. As Software AG Labor Director, he is also responsible for Human Resources.
Arnd Zinnhardt began his career in 1988 at Ernst & Young. In 1992, he successfully took his tax adviser examinations. He qualified as a certified public accountant (CPA) in 1994.
In 1998 Arnd Zinnhardt joined BDO AG in Frankfurt, where he became a partner. In 2001, he was appointed to Regional and Office Managing Partner Frankfurt at BDO AG.
Arnd Zinnhardt holds a degree in business administration from the University of Cologne.
Dr. Wolfram Jost *

Dr. rer. nat. Wolfram Jost, born in 1962, has been a member of the Management Board of Software AG since August 2010 and is responsible for Research & Development.
Dr. Wolfram Jost studied business economics, majoring in economic information science and marketing, at the University of the Saarland, from October 1983 to April 1988. After graduation in 1988 he worked for the Institute of Economic Information Science (IWi) at the University of the Saarland, where his duties included supervising and holding classes, heading projects in the field of Computer Integrated Manufacturing and organizing scientific congresses.
Dr. Wolfram Jost completed his doctoral thesis at the Law and Economics Faculty at the University of the Saarland in November 1992 on the topic of "Computer-based CIM Planning - Conception and Realization of a Tool for Analyzing and Planning CIM Systems".
In 1992 Dr. Wolfram Jost joined IDS Prof. Scheer GmbH, Saarbrücken. Here he was initially the head of ARIS Product Development before taking over as the head of ARIS Product Strategy in 1998.
In 1994 he was promoted to a senior management position, a post he held until he was appointed to the Executive Board of IDS Scheer AG in 2000. He remained a member of the IDS Scheer Board until the takeover of IDS Scheer AG by Software AG had been completed.
Dr. Wolfram Jost has written numerous articles for books and magazines and has also (co)authored more than ten specialist books.
Mark Edwards

Mark Edwards, born in 1956, was appointed to the Management Board of Software AG in April 2003. In August 2010 he moved to the Group Executive Board. As Chief Operating Officer Global Operations, he is responsible for global Maintenance Management, Systems Engineering, Customer Support and IT infrastructure.
Mark Edwards joined Software AG in July 1999 as Managing Director of the UK operation, and in 2001 his responsibilities were extended to also include the Nordics and Netherlands. In April 2003, he took over responsibility for the operations in Northern Europe, South Africa, Asia/Pacific and Japan. As of May 2008, Mark Edwards was Chief Operating Officer, with at last responsibility for the regions Americas & APJ (North America, Latin America, Asia Pacific and Japan).
Mark Edwards spent the early years of his career in a technical capacity working in the mainframe arena. In 1983 he accepted a position as Computer Operations Manager for the Government of Bermuda a post he held for five years. Upon his return to the UK, he chose to focus his career more specifically on the software industry, and joined Computer Associates, where he worked until 1997 as General Manager - Sales. For the next two years he served as Managing Director for the UK Software and Services operation for Platinum Technology.
Kamyar Niroumand

Kamyar Niroumand, born in 1960, has been a member of the Group Executive Board since August 2010. As Chief Operating Officer, he is responsible for the regions Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
After earning a graduate degree in engineering management, Kamyar Niroumand began his professional career with Siemens-Nixdorf Computer AG in 1986, where he was the Sales Account Manager for key accounts in Berlin and the states of former East Germany. In 1991 he became Head of Sales for Computing Services (Berlin and former East Germany) at debis Systemhaus (dSH). He was tapped to join the Management Board at dSH sfi GmbH (Systemhaus für Informationsverarbeitung) in 1995, responsible for sales and desktop services.
From 1997 to 2001, Kamyar Niroumand was Chairman of the Management Board of dSH sfi GmbH, responsible for Desktop and Computing Services. Starting in 1998 he also assumed responsibility for the Eastern Europe region, and became Chairman of the debis Systemhaus Solutions for Healthcare from 2000 to 2001.
After T-Systems was founded in early 2001, Kamyar Niroumand was named Chairman of the Management Board of T-Systems CSM GmbH and also headed up Service Line Computing & Desktop Services through the end of 2004. In 2005, Kamyar Niroumand took over as Chief Sales & Service Officer on the Executive Committee of T-Systems, a Deutsche Telekom subsidiary, responsible for key accounts. As Managing Director of T-Systems International GmbH, he was responsible for business activities in growth regions.
In 2006, Kamyar Niroumand was named CEO of Beta Systems Software AG, a role he held until 2009.
Paul Orme-Smith

Paul Orme-Smith, born in 1962, was appointed to the Group Executive Board in February 2012. As President and Chief Executive Officer North America, he is responsible for the United States and Canadian operations of Software AG.
Paul Orme-Smith joined Software AG in July 1994 as a Services Sales Manager in the UK subsidiary. He then progressed through Sales Management in the UK before taking on an international business development role focused on markets in Europe, South Africa and North America.
In April 2007 Paul Orme-Smith relocated to the USA and in July 2008 he was appointed Senior Vice President Sales, responsible for the Enterprise Transaction Systems Division servicing Software AG’s Natural/Adabas customers in the United States. In August 2011, Paul Orme-Smith was appointed President North America Sales with responsibility for sales and business development in North America.
After studying business at Bournemouth University, Paul Orme-Smith began his career in IT as a Sales Executive with Universal (CMS) in the UK.
Darren Roos

Darren Roos, born in 1974, was appointed to the Group Executive Board in August 2011 as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the EMEA region (excluding D/A/CH and Eastern Europe). In addition, he is responsible for China, Japan, Australia, South-East-Asia and India.
Darren joined Software AG in 2005 as the Sales Manager for South Africa. In 2006 his responsibility was extended to managing the entire operations in South Africa as well as those in Middle East and North Africa (MENA). Darren’s territory expanded further in 2008 as responsibility for Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Nordics and Russia was added. From 2009 Darren served as Senior Vice President Sales for BeNeLux, Nordics and South Africa. As of August 2011 Darren Roos took over responsibility for Region EMEA (Excl. D/A/CH, EE).
After studying Law at the University of South Africa, Darren began his career in the ICT industry in Sales and Business Development with Redflag Communications and Dimension Data.
Ivo Totev

Ivo Totev, born in 1967, was appointed to the Management Board of Software AG in March 2009. In August 2010, he moved to the Group Executive Board. Ivo Totev serves as Chief Marketing Officer with responsibility for global marketing and product marketing. As head of Global Consulting he is responsible for the consulting services business worldwide.
Ivo Totev has been with Software AG since 2005.
After graduating university in 1994 with a degree in Electrical Engineering, Ivo Totev began his career at Progress Software. Following that, he worked for Forté Software, where he assisted with the launch of their German operations. Later, he worked for Sun Microsystems, where he served as Technology Evangelist, responsible for the company strategy and vision in the Java market. Ivo Totev then worked for SAP AG from 2003 to 2004, where he was responsible for product marketing for the NetWeaver Developer platform.
