Solution/Innovation:
Bundesagentur für Arbeit chose the ARIS Platform to establish and implement core processes. The solution incorporates: complete documentation of business processes; the migration of existing process models; establishing new modeling conventions; creating a customized process portal with paperless work instructions; building customized ARIS reports; and employee training along with a reference guide for all employees.

Business Results:
The agency has become a beacon for process excellence at the federal level in Germany. With the backing of top management from the start, the agency has been able to increase its flexibility and citizen focus while achieving significant improvements in service and process quality. ARIS is now the uniform standard for operational business process modeling used by all business departments at headquarters and remote offices, improving operational consistency.

Technology Benefits:
Process models are now published at least monthly—enterprise-wide—with a "simple mouse click". Every employee has access to the same process models at the same time. Highly adaptable, the solution offers extensive functionality and easy-to-use search options. ARIS has proven easy to administer and use. The solution incorporates: ARIS Business Architect for administration; ARIS Business Designer for modeling; and ARIS Business Publisher to publish core reference processes. ARIS Process Governance will be used to automate release management.
