Software AG appoints Toennies-Hilmar v. Donop as head of Global Consulting Services

Darmstadt, Germany, 6/29/2012

As of July 1, 2012, Toennies-Hilmar von Donop (57) will assume leadership of the Global Consulting Services (GCS) business unit, at which point he will also become a member of Software AG’s Group Executive Board.

He is taking over for current GCS head Ivo Totev, who is to transfer to Silicon Valley in his new function as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Totev will focus on developing the Software AG brand in the U.S. market as well as broadening the company’s presence on the American west coast.

Toennies-Hilmar v. Donop has many years of managerial experience in the global consulting business. He joins Software AG from Accenture where he held various management positions during the course of 15 years. As Global Managing Partner, for example, he was in charge of the Systems Integration division in Europe, Africa and Latin America. From 1999 to 2009 he was a member of the board at Accenture and responsible for the technology and outsourcing business in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Before that v. Donop headed the public sector business for PSI AG.
