Arnd Zinnhardt, born in 1962, has been a member of the Management Board of Software AG since May 2002, and in this role he is responsible for the following departments: Finance, Controlling, Taxes, Treasury, Mergers & Acquisitions, Business Operations, Investor Relations, and Global Purchasing. As Software AG Labor Director, he is also responsible for Human Resources.

After graduating from the University of Cologne, Arnd Zinnhardt began his career in 1988 at Ernst & Young. In 1992, he passed his tax adviser exams while continuing to work at Ernst & Young. He passed his certified public accountant (CPA) exams in 1994. In the same year Ernst & Young granted Arnd Zinnhardt the attorney. 

In 1998, he became a partner at BDO AG in Frankfurt. In 2001, he became regional and office managing partner at BDO AG.
