Dr. Katrina Simon holds master degrees and a doctorate in business administration and computer sciences. Before joining Software AG in 2009, she was responsible for R&D projects at the Institute of Information Systems (IWi) at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI GmbH). Today, Katrina is an ARIS product manager responsible for the ARIS-webMethods integration (also known as Model-to-Execute) and ARIS for SAP Solutions.

Dr. Helge Hess is Senior Vice President of ARIS Product Management at Software AG and has over 20 years of experience in the consulting and software business. In parallel to different management positions within the product division he was in charge of IDS Scheer’s BPM Consulting unit and Academy for some years. Dr. Hess graduated from the Saarbrucken University in Germany with a MSc in Computer Science and was a fellow of the Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes (German National Academic Foundation). He obtained a PhD in Economics and was the recipient of the Dr.-Eduard-Martin Award from the department of Business Administration for his research concerning the reusability of software components.
