Empower Engineers with Self-service Advanced Analytics to Improve Operational Performance

Digitalization can help you improve profitability, create new products or services and disrupt markets. Learn how you can harness the incredible, under-utilized potentiation of historical time-series data to improve your overall operational performance. If all subject matter experts are empowered with analytics, especially those connected to your production processes, operational excellence can be accelerated and acheived.

In this hands-on session, we will detail the benefits of putting self-service analytics in the hands of process and asset experts to continuously improve operational performance. Business users can analyze, monitor and predict process and asset performance within their operational context using pattern recognition and machine learning technology.

See how self-service analytics via TrendMiner is empowering "citizen analysts" and transforming processes. We'll also showcase customer use cases that outline it's key capabilities, including:

  • Root cause analysis
  • Recommender engine
  • Early warnings
  • Contextualization
  • Knowledge capturing

These capabilities help engineers, control room personnel and plant managers to continuously improve operational performance by reducing the carbon footprint, increasing yield, improving plant safety, reducing downtime and predicting maintenance issues before they happen.

11:00 am to 4:00 pm - Business Transformation with ARIS

Trends, Latest Product Highlights & Short-Term Roadmap

The key to successful business transformation initiatives is a clear focus on the organization’s operations and a continuous optimization towards excellence. The new ARIS10 SR8 features have one common goal: to help you making change happen! The latest product highlights comprise an attractive user experience, smart modeling, integrated process mining, expanded cloud offering and many more.
These new features do not only make change happen, they massively support Enterprise Management Systems (EMS) powered by ARIS. While becoming your single source of truth, an EMS based on ARIS empowers you to be in full control of your organization and thus to turn your business into success.

Short Customer Use Cases:

We want to hear you! Please prepare a 10 minutes presentation on your current process management activities with ARIS. Keep it simple - slides are not necessary but welcome. Think about:

  • What are you working on?
  • What are the goals/objects of that initiative?
  • What are your challenges (can be discussed in the mutual exchange of experience later that day)?
  • What did/will you achieve?
  • How many people are involved? Modelers vs consumers?
  • What does management think about your initiative?

Best Practice Session - How to build a world-class Enterprise Management System powered by ARIS

An Enterprise Management System (EMS) brings customers to operational excellence and is key to survive in today’s digital world. In this session you will learn how you can build a process portal that really involves all employees and invites them to contribute and share. Information can be modeled and published in the context of dedicated projects and be delivered to the relevant stakeholders. An EMS is the single source of truth for the whole company and helps to roll out defined standards worldwide. It supports your transformation initiatives all the way from strategy to operations, enables operational excellence and continuous improvement, and ensures you comply with regulations and mitigate risks.

Open Discussion: Share your Experiences and Best Practices

In this session, participants share experiences, best practices and discuss open questions with each other and Software AG. The idea is to learn from others that already faced similar challenges, and to get and share guidance.
