Auditing ML-based data driven services

Description

AUDIo will digitize the re-calibration and re-configuration of machines, which currently is a pure manual service requiring expert knowledge. In the future, the machine operators shall be enabled to perform these tasks on their own. This will be achieved by an AR-based assistant that guides the machine operators through the entire re-calibration and re-configuration process, the sensor-based measurement of calibration data, and the remote computation of re-configuration parameters supported by AI and machine learning techniques. Additionally, AUDIo will make use of the Distributed Ledger Technology to log the generated data and performed (inter-)actions in a secure, immutable, and thus auditable way.

REIF

Resource-efficient, Economic and Intelligent Foodchain

Description

Objective of REIF is to reduce the waste of food in production and retail - for instant almost one third of all milk produced is lost in the value chain before it is bought by customers. To solve this huge economic but above all societal problem, REIF investigates the potential of Artificial Intelligence to optimize planning and controllability of the value chain. The core of REIF is the conception of an AI ecosystem that integrates stakeholders at all stages of the food industry.

SAUBER  

Satellite-based System to display, predict, and simulate air pollutants for a sustainable urban and regional development

Description

The aim of is to establish an information platform for sustainable urban and regional development. The data and services of the Copernicus space program, which have so far hardly been used in practice, will be developed and transferred into digital services: SAUBER will not only offer a comprehensive and detailed overview of the current air quality, but will also allow forecasts and simulations of the expected air quality using artificial-intelligence methods.

ZDMP

Zero Defects Manufacturing Platform

Description

Development of a platform for the control and improvement of the “Zero Defects” product and process quality in the Industry 4.0 field for manufacturers. The ZDMP platform will combine state-of-the-art technology approaches based on commercial software or robust open source platforms with innovative integration concepts.

Partners

The consortium consists of 30 partners, including companies supplying ICT solutions, suppliers of solutions in the manufacturing sector, industrial partners in the automotive, industrial machinery, electronic and construction, as well as universities and research institutes and the German institute for DIN standardization.
