Planning and Managing a Microservices-based Architecture
Microservices are used to decompose an application into a suite of smaller services, each running separately and communicating with lightweight mechanisms. They improve modularity and make the application easier to understand, develop and test. They can be used when the system is too complex or difficult to manage, the system is expected to handle high traffic and needs to be highly scalable, or the system needs to continuously add new features or modify existing ones during its core usage phase. This presentation demonstrates how to model and visualize the various facets of a microservices-based architecture pattern and how to plan microservices for the future in a way that ensures compliance with compatibility and functionality requirements.
