Insbesondere die Hypothekensparte unterliegt strengen Pr\u00fcfungen durch staatliche Aufsichtsbeh\u00f6rden. Jeder Kredit muss \u00fcber den gesamten Lebenszyklus hinweg vollst\u00e4ndig nachvollziehbar, sicher und compliant sein \u2013 von der Beantragung bis zur vollst\u00e4ndigen R\u00fcckzahlung.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Als es dann zu einem Cyberangriff kam, wurde deutlich, dass herk\u00f6mmliche Systeme nicht mehr ausreichten. Drittanbieter boten schnell L\u00f6sungen an, um die L\u00fccken zu schlie\u00dfen. AAFMAA wollte jedoch einen intelligenteren Ansatz zur Anomalie-Erkennung und Betrugspr\u00e4vention verfolgen. Ben\u00f6tigt wurde eine L\u00f6sung, die Echtzeitdaten analysieren sowie Bedrohungen erkennen und verhindern kann \u2013 und dabei flexibel genug ist, um sich an sich weiterentwickelnde Compliance-Anforderungen anzupassen. Ziel war der Aufbau einer unternehmenseigenen Anomalie-Erkennungs-Engine, die Adabas-Datenlogs nutzt und moderne Machine-Learning-Techniken einsetzt, um Anomalien zu identifizieren und Betrug in Echtzeit zu verhindern.\u201c&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Schon kurz nach Beginn der Entwicklung wurden konkrete Ergebnisse sichtbar. Bislang zeigen f\u00fcnf Use Cases bereits gro\u00dfes Potenzial:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Forensische Analyse mit Adabas CLogs und PLogs: <\/strong>Die Engine von AAFMAA nutzt Adabas Command Logs (CLogs) und Protection Logs (PLogs), um Echtzeit-Snapshots der Datenbankaktivit\u00e4t zu erfassen. CLogs protokollieren Benutzersitzungen, Befehlstypen, Ausf\u00fchrungszeiten und Transaktionsstatus. PLogs liefern Vorher-Nachher-Abbilder von Daten\u00e4nderungen, um Rollbacks zu erm\u00f6glichen und bei Bedarf forensische Analysen durchzuf\u00fchren.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"2\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Machine learning for anomaly detection: <\/strong>The custom AI engine uses Python and Natural Language Processing, integrating LLMs such as Mistral and LLaMA. These models can analyze log patterns to distinguish normal behavior from anomalies that could indicate fraudulent activity.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"3\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Threat Modeling und Penetration Testing: <\/strong> Um die Widerstandsf\u00e4higkeit der Datenbank sicherzustellen, nutzt das interne Penetration-Testing-Team von AAFMAA KI sowohl offensiv als auch defensiv, um Angriffe realit\u00e4tsnah zu simulieren und die Sicherheit des Systems zu testen.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"4\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Echtzeit-Alerting und Case Management: <\/strong>Die Engine umfasst eine regelbasierte Erkennungsschicht und ein Policy-Enforcement-Modul, das bei verd\u00e4chtigen Transaktionen Alarme ausl\u00f6st. \u00dcber die webbasierte Oberfl\u00e4che k\u00f6nnen Compliance-Verantwortliche Aktivit\u00e4ten \u00fcberwachen, Regeln anpassen und auff\u00e4llige F\u00e4lle unabh\u00e4ngig sowie ortsunabh\u00e4ngig bearbeiten.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"5\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Seamless integration across the business architecture<\/strong>: The AI engine has been integrated with AAFMAA\u2019s CRM systems and verification APIs. This means it can support checks for credit history, appraisals, titles, and OFAC compliance.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"articletext_16447225\">Mehr Wert aus der Datenbank erschlie\u00dfen<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Obwohl AAFMAA erst am Anfang seiner Reise steht, hat das Team bereits mehrere wichtige Erkenntnisse gewonnen: \u201eDer Einsatz von Machine Learning geht nicht nur um Automatisierung\u201c, erkl\u00e4rt Pathak. \u201eEr hat unsere Mitarbeitenden deutlich besser darin gemacht, Betrug und Anomalien zu erkennen. Seit der Einf\u00fchrung der Engine sind die Betriebskosten deutlich gesunken, weil externe Anbieter durch verl\u00e4ssliche, interne KI-L\u00f6sungen ersetzt wurden. Das verschafft AAFMAA mehr Unabh\u00e4ngigkeit und Flexibilit\u00e4t und setzt Budget frei, um weiter in Innovation zu investieren.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vor Kurzem wurde die KI-Engine in Encompass integriert - AAFMAAs Plattform zur Kreditbearbeitung - sowie in die Underwriting-Prozesse. Dadurch stehen den zentralen Fachbereichen jetzt Funktionen zur Betrugserkennung in Echtzeit zur Verf\u00fcgung. Zudem wurde das Vertrauen in die Datenintegrit\u00e4t abteilungs\u00fcbergreifend sp\u00fcrbar gest\u00e4rkt.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jeder Bundesstaat in den USA hat unterschiedliche Compliance-Regeln. Vor dem Start dieses Projekts w\u00e4re dieses Ma\u00df an regulatorischer Vielfalt ein Minenfeld gewesen. Heute lassen sich die Regeln bundesstaatenspezifisch konfigurieren, was die Audit-Bereitschaft verbessert und das Risiko von Strafzahlungen reduziert.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Am wichtigsten sind jedoch die Vorteile f\u00fcr die Mitglieder, die der Association ihre Daten und ihre finanzielle Absicherung anvertrauen.
