Cumulocity IoT Hackathon 2.0

Be prepared for our second IoT Hackathon in Dublin! This is your chance to collaborate, innovate & implement amazing stuff on top of Cumulocity IoT & thin-edge.io. Our IoT experts will be on hand to provide advice and guidance when you need it. We are happy to welcome all customers, partners & prospects to be part of this event.
What to expect

In a full-day hackathon you will meet inspiring people, form heterogenous teams, brainstorm about innovative ideas and implement them using the skills of the whole team.

It doesn't matter if you are new to Cumulocity IoT / thin-edge.io or already very advanced. Everybody with a technical background is welcomed to join and will be guided by our IoT experts.

Be ready for an inspiring environment, motivated people & teams and a lot of fun!

Challenges
This year we will have 3 challenges according to our IoT Ecosystem Dimensions
Device Integration Challenge
With the upcoming thin-edge.io release 1.0, the device management & Cumulocity IoT integration is nearly complete. Make use of that and integrate & extend the integration of any kind of devices to Cumulocity IoT. Is there something missing in thin-edge.io? Build your own plugins for thin-edge.io to make it even more powerful! 
Application Enablement Challenge
In Cumulocity 10.16 UI plugins were introduced allowing much more flexibility in customizing user interfaces. You have a great idea of a UI plugin that could be beneficial for all? Great, let’s build it together!
IoT Solution Challenge
You have a great idea of an IoT solution built on top of Cumulocity IoT? This is the right challenge for you to implement anything in regard to Cumulocity IoT. Be it a new system integration supported by a microservice or a small solution leveraging Cumulocity IoT Dashboarding & Streaming Analytics capabilities

What do we expect from you?
  • You are in a technical role somehow related to IoT in your company.
  • You are experienced in software development.
  • You bring your own tools, hardware and equipment.
  • You are open for trying something new or have already some IoT solutions in mind you want to implement!

  • Once your registration has been confirmed please arrange your
    travel.

  • The official end is April 9, 2024 but on April 10, 2024 there will be technical session stream about IoT which might also be relevant for you
