                    ARIS AI Companion—AI-based model generation

The ARIS AI Companion provides designers with model drafts based on textual descriptions in natural language. Designers or domain experts can now “translate” their textual descriptions into structured EPCs or BPMNs, and Standard Operating Procedures can be transitioned into a process repository with just a few clicks. This new capability saves time and costs during the content creation processes.1

                    ARIS AI Companion—AI-based search

The ARIS AI Companion allows you to ask the Companion about information stored in models within the ARIS repository. This is handy if you want to ask questions about responsibilities or risks related to your tasks and how to mitigate them, or ask what steps you need to successfully complete a process. The new fuzzy search enables you to retrieve content even though the key words aren’t exactly matched. The availability of the single source of truth through the Companion is not only key to successful transformational processes, it increases productivity by lowering efforts related to user onboarding and information retrieval.1

                    ARIS AI Companion—Generate calculated fields

The AI Companion now offers a groundbreaking feature in Process Mining that assists you in generating code for the creation of calculated fields. By simply providing a description or articulating a business question, you can seamlessly transform your input into code that defines a calculated field, eliminating the manual coding process and enhancing efficiency.1

                    ARIS AI Companion—Integrated in the Process Explorer

Seamlessly integrated into ARIS Process Mining, the ARIS AI Companion creates a direct connection to a chat powered by Generative AI, providing users with a personalized and interactive experience. Through customized prompts and the ability to ask unique questions in the chat interface, the ARIS AI Companion enables users to derive precise and actionable insights from their process data.1

ARIS receives a boost to accelerate time-to-value 

                    ARIS Gallery with accelerators

The new ARIS Gallery for BPA products provides an ever-growing range of pre-defined accelerators directly within ARIS, you can now browse, select and install accelerators containing databases, filters and templates into your project room. This is an important step towards quicker time-to-value, as it allows you to jumpstart your journey and explore new use cases.

                    Redesigned user experience of Process Mining

To improve the user experience and ARIS Process Mining usability, we have redesigned the user interface to focus on enhancing navigation and efficiency. One of the key updates includes positioning the navigation bar on the left-hand side for direct and convenient access to essential functions. The goal is to simplify and accelerate the start-up process for ARIS Process Mining by enabling you to start working intuitively and effortlessly.
The new ARIS—more powerful and handy 

                    Process Mining ad-hoc event log definitions and dynamic switching

The concept of an event log has now evolved to offer ad-hoc definition capabilities, eliminating the need for recalculations and allowing for dynamic selection at the app analysis level. Furthermore, the default event log definition can now be tailored on a per-app and per-data set basis, providing even greater flexibility and control over data visualization and analysis. This significant advancement empowers analysts to customize their event logs on the fly without the constraints of predefined parameters, ensuring that you can effortlessly optimize your process mining workflows to suit specific requirements and objectives. 

                    New report development and debugging

Administrators acting as script developers—working with the powerful ARIS report API—can now develop and debug ARIS reports within the web environment by using the new ARIS script editor. The editor offers an all-new browser-based integrated development environment (IDE), auto-completion, tooltips based on JSDoc maintained in the script, code and error highlighting, enhanced debugging, multiple language support, embedded help, workspace concept, and much more.

                    Formatted text applied as a Contributor

The new inline text editor in the ARIS Portal allows you to both insert and maintain formatted text and edit previously created formatting set up using ARIS Designer. This is very useful for business users who want to maintain the appearance of the text when creating new content or when updating formatted text (e.g., Standard Operating Procedures).

                    New search filter options for end users

There are new options to reduce the search filters shown to content consumers in the ARIS portal. Located within the content type configuration, the UI can be used by administrators to either activate or deactivate content types and properties from being indexed and searched. As an end user you will thereby only see a limited number of filter options. As an administrator you can also boost up to five content types found in the portal search.

                    Risk and Compliance self-service-configuration for Messages and Notifications

ARIS Administration now offers the ability to configure notifications for Risk and Compliance with a simple UI. Customize the style and content of messages for various scenarios and recipients, improving acceptance by end users and lowering Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

                    Enhanced sync between ARIS and SAP Cloud ALM for solution processes in BPMN format

The synchronization of models in the BPMN format—including all objects and connections—is made available. The enhanced sync capability firstly enables the reuse of task objects for other purposes in SAP Cloud ALM, realizes an improved integration of ARIS model content into SAP Cloud ALM repository, and finally makes ARIS ready for your future connectivity to SAP Cloud ALM.
