This is a 6- or 25-day engagement depending on your chosen objective. During the 6-day engagement, you will work with the consultant to establish manually controlled promotion process for deploying APIs using standard product features of the API Management platform.
In the extended 25-day format, your consultant will work with your team to identify your specific requirements and create significant additional automation, testing and auditability to establish a sophisticated deployment pipeline.

How it works
- Your consultant will arrange a kick-off and discovery session to share the nature of the planned work, understand from your team what environments and processes they already work with, discuss and accommodate the implications, and agree the schedule with responsibilities.
- Following this, your consultant will run a set of workshops with the relevant stakeholders to define the deployment processes for your organization, addressing runtime environment requirements, user configurations, API Gateway configurations for effective deployment, and the need for API project and alias definitions.
- Based on the output of these workshops, your consultant will support your team configuring your API Gateway environments and promotion management procedures.
- For the longer format of the engagement, your consultant will spend additional time identifying your specific deployment requirements and mapping these to the delivery of the more sophisticated deployment pipeline.
- Finally, your consultant will assist your team as they test and validate that the procedures are understood, effective and operating within your API environments, finishing with a handover of the established capability to your API administrators and architects.
