How it works
- The Consultant kicks off the engagement with a meeting to set expectations, define success criteria, and identify specific opportunities. Customer representatives include Developer(s), Technical lead, Architect, Sponsor / Account Manager.
- The Consultant conducts a hands-on workshop to demonstrate webMethods.io Integration through specific configuration activities. Topics include Version Control Configuration; Connectivity to Empower Package Registry Connection; How to Create Projects with Connection to Source Code Repository and How to connect Edge Integration Runtimes.
- Next, the Consultant hosts a workshop on specific installation and configuration activities to be performed locally within their development environment. Topics include How Service Designer is Installed and Configured Against Version Control; How Unit Testing is Configured and Works Against a Sample Project; and Collaborative Development, Development Best Practices and Unit Testing.
- Following, the Consultant guides the development team through specific installation and connection to webMethods.io for creating a self-hosted Edge Server Runtime with custom Flow Package using webMethods Package Manager.
- Finally, the Consultant provides guides on how to work with the defined processes and conducts a knowledge transfer session to explain the various development processes, Q&A, and recommendations on next steps.
