How it works
- At the beginning of this engagement, your consultant meets with the project sponsor to agree on the desired outcome and stakeholder engagement.
- Next, the consultant will work with the relevant stakeholders to define the solution architecture.
- Following, the consultant will work with your team to configure the solution including:
- Up to 3 APIs on API Gateway
- API policies for these APIs
- Mock responses for these APIs
- Configure aliases for alternative endpoints.
- Next, the consultant will work with you to publish your APIs to the Developer Portal and:
- Create up to three APIs on Developer Portal
- Configure up to six APIs on Developer Portal
- The consultant then works with your team to test the APIs, mock responses, and alternative endpoints.
- Finally, the consultant will verify API configuration in Developer Portal.

By the end of the engagement, you will have received support to address:
- Establishing centralized control over API usage including proxy controls and fine-grained access to individual methods/resources.
- Centralized management of authentication, logging, and monitoring for API invocations.
- Control the consumption rate for APIs and handle temporary or permanent outages.
