How it works
- At the beginning of this engagement, your consultant meets with the project sponsor to agree on the desired outcome and stakeholder engagement.
- Next, stakeholders define the solution architecture with the consultant, including:
a. Definition of API Gateway global event configuration
b. Definition of global policies for transaction logging
c. Definition of global policies for monitoring Requirements definition for transaction logging, monitoring, and dashboards (3 APIs)
d. Definition of operations procedures for analytics data - Following, your team works with the consultant to configure API Gateway global events, global policies, and dashboards according to the solution architecture.
- Finally, the consultant works with your team to verify and test the configured APIs.

By the end of the engagement, you will have received support to create:
- Pre-built dashboards covering main reporting use cases
- Custom dashboards covering customer-specific use cases based on customer’s business
- Interactive dashboards to:
- zoom-in on the timeline
- filter (restrict to / exclude) by event types, assets, event attribute values etc.
- add, remove, arrange columns in tabular views - Centralized analytics in Dev Portal across API Gateway instances / stages
