How it works
- The consultant conducts an initial project kick-off meeting to align priorities and scope with stakeholders’ expectations.
- Following, the consultant conducts an architecture workshop to assess the current architecture, future architecture expectations, and goals for the cloud migration.
- Next, in the development workshop the consultant will assess your current development processes, coding and change management procedures, deployment and release processes.
- During the operations workshop the consultant will assess recent issues, current operating processes, operational SLAs and supporting procedures.
- Next, the consultant will facilitate a testing workshop to review the existing testing framework, testing tools, test scripts, and test coverage.
- Finally, observations from the various workshops will be analysed by the consultant to determine the main risks, challenges and technical implications of the proposed migration.
- The Software AG consultant will produce a report covering the findings, recommended migration approach, risks and mitigating strategies, and recommendations for additional actions to plan the migration.
- At the end of the engagement, as well as the written report, the Software AG consultant will conduct a presentation of the key findings and recommendations to the main stakeholders.
Workshops will be conducted in single or multiple meetings as needed. Some subject areas may be revisited to collect extra details or address key resource availability constraints.
