Microsoft Asia

As the General Manager of the Enterprise Business for Microsoft Asia, Jeyan Jeevaratnam plays an integral role in growing the enterprise business by driving digital transformation projects with strategic clients across Asia.

His responsibilities include partnering with key stakeholders in Microsoft to drive customer sponsorships, initiating conversations with enterprise prospects, ensuring the Enterprise Leads across the region are landing the company’s priorities in their markets, and providing feedback from the field back to Microsoft’s corporate arm to refine the company’s enterprise business strategy.

During his decade-long tenure with Avanade, Jeevaratnam held several key leadership appointments, including the Chief Operating Officer for North America, Chief Growth Officer & Corporate Vice President for Growth Markets, and the Managing Director & Corporate Vice President for Australia. He also held a series of senior executive positions in other technology multinational corporations, including AT&T and IBM global services, in Europe, Asia, and Australia.

As the Regional President for Software AG APJ, Schulz is responsible for spearheading Software AG’s business operations, expanding the partner ecosystem, and driving growth and revenue across the region. The youngest regional president in Software AG’s history, she brings to her role more than 10 years of sales and management experience in the technology sector across markets.

Since joining Software AG in 2011, Schulz has held senior leadership roles across Europe and Asia Pacific and Japan – including most recently serving as Software AG Asia’s Vice President. Under her leadership, Software AG in Asia consistently grew over 30%, making it one of the most successful regions in the world for the company. Schulz has also been appointed as a member of Project Helix .Helix is a new strategic direction of Software AG to accelerate revenue growth while both achieving higher recurring revenue and maintaining high profitability. As part of this strategy, the product portfolio will be focused on growth segments and Sales and Marketing activities in core markets will be increased. Prior to Software AG, Schulz was involved in sales and marketing in large information technology companies such as SAP, Siemens and Original 1 to name a few.

Sven Roeleven is Senior Vice President for Global Presales & Industry Solutions at Software AG. Sven and his team of industry leaders are developing industry-specific solutions for digital transformation, by co-innovations with customers and partners. Across all industries, Sven is leader of the Communications & Media vertical.

After graduating in Public Administration from Erasmus University Rotterdam, Sven joined Software AG in 2002. He gained extensive hands-on experience covering almost all Software AG’s Digital Business Platform capabilities throughout the course of more than two hundred projects. Sven run Software AG’s consulting services as VP in EMEA and acted as trusted advisor for CxO’s at companies like Royal Philips, ING, Canon, Heineken, Ministries, Sabic and Equinor. In Sven’s current role he is advisor and member of a dozen of Digital Transformation Committee’s.

Jigar has substantial experience in helping customers with solutions to drive better operational efficiencies using middleware, process analysis and automation, in-memory and streaming analytics solutions. With more than 18 years of IT experience gained in providing business solution predominantly in Banking and Financial Services. Other verticals covered - Manufacturing and Government. Prior to Software AG, worked at Logica (now CGI) in solutions consulting capacity providing business solutions in Banking Space based on Enterprise Applications. Solution areas covered: Payments, Anti Money Laundering, Branch Automation and CRM, Multi-channel Automation.

Michael Cross serves as Vice President, Solution Architect for Australia & New Zealand at Software AG. With the APJ team, Michael is responsible for driving co-innovation and digital transformation with key strategic customers and partners in Asia Pacific & Japan. Michael brings to his role more than two decades of experience in ICT to further growing Software AG’s business across the region. He has earlier worked with multinational companies such as CA Technologies, Red Hat and webMethods to name a few.

How to get to Anatara Riverside Bangkok Resort
Located on the west bank of the Chao Phraya amidst 11 acres of greenery, Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort offers urban serenity twinned with authentic discoveries. Public taxis are available from pick-up counters from both Bangkok airports. Transfers range from THB500 to THB1,500 each way. Please be advised these prices are subject to additional airport and highway toll charges.

FAQs

Who should attend the Partner Summit?
In 2020, the focus of the Software AG APJ Partner Summit will be for executives/ sales leaders, and technical managers of your organization. We will include sales training and product training, as well as sessions that will discuss sales strategy, share sales best practices, provide thought leadership, and allow attendees to network.

Is there a registration fee?
Attendance to the APJ Partner Summit is free but is by invitation only and seats are limited, so do register early.

Is air transportation paid for by Software AG?
No. Please make your own air transportation arrangements into Suvarnabhumi Airport or Don Mueang International Airport.

When should I arrive and depart from the event?
There is an informal Welcome Cocktails on Sunday evening, February 16. Attendance is optional. However, all attendees are expected to be on time for the Main Session on Monday, February 17 from 08:30 am to 16:30. In the evening, the much anticipated Awards Night is held from 19:00 to 22:00 where top partners are awarded. Another full day of informative breakouts are held on Tuesday, February 18 from 09:00 to 16:00.

Are hotel accommodations paid for by Software AG?
Yes. Hotel accommodations will be hosted for the event. Partners will each receive a maximum 2 rooms each for 2 night(s) stay hosted. Exceptions may be granted based on availability and partner status, please e-mail: Jessica.schwarze@softwareag.com to make your request.

How do I make hotel reservations?
Hotel reservations will be made on your behalf when you complete the registration process. Final hotel confirmations will be sent approximately two weeks prior to the event.

What if I would like to extend my stay at the hotel before or after the Summit?
Please indicate the dates of your early arrival or reservation extension in the comments form in the registration. The special group rate that you will be able to enjoy will be advised to you.

What is the appropriate attire?
Smart casual attire is appropriate for the summit. Feel free to sport your Software AG t-shirt. Remember to bring a sweater in case of cold meeting rooms.

For the awards dinner, smart summer chic attire is acceptable. No shorts or sandals are permitted.

What other information should be noted by partner attendees?
  • This is a by-invitation only event. The invitation is not transferrable.
  • Partners are allowed to nominate additional sales and technical staff to the event. However, all expenses incurred – accommodation, airfare, airport transfers, registration fee, etc., will have to be borne by the relevant partner office.
  • Seats and accommodation to the Summit are limited, and will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
  • Software AG reserves the right to amend the program without prior notice.
