Sanjay Brahmawar has been Chief Executive Officer of Software AG since August 2018. Software AG is a global technology innovator delivering the world’s first integrated digital business platform and unique in the industry for its extensive portfolio of platform-agnostic software brands.
Brahmawar served as general manager for global revenue at IBM’s Watson IoT and managed the global business of data analytics and artificial intelligence software products in that capacity. He previously held GM, Vice President and Executive Partner roles within various IBM businesses.
Brahmawar brings hands-on IoT expertise, a wealth of international experience and technical know-how blended with an entrepreneurial vision to Software AG. Prior to IBM, he served at PwC, Fedex, DSM and Honda. He is a frequent guest speaker at industry events and conferences where he demonstrates the value of the connected IoT ecosystem and his obsession for customer-centric innovations that can deliver unprecedented organizational performance.
Brahmawar earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Delhi College of Engineering and M.B.A. in Finance and Marketing from University of Leeds. He is a citizen of the world, born in India, and having worked and lived in England, Finland, Belgium, Holland, and Germany. An avid cyclist and runner, Brahmawar currently resides in Darmstadt, Germany.
Dr. Sebastian Wedeniwski

Dr Sebastian Wedeniwski joined Standard Chartered Bank in April 2017 as Chief Technology Strategist. In this role, he is instrumental in defining and implementing the Bank’s digital and innovation agenda. Sebastian joined the Bank from IBM where he was an IBM Distinguished Engineer and the Chief Technology Officer for IBM’s global Industrial Sector. In 1998, he joined the IBM Research & Development Laboratory Germany after he founded two software development companies. Sebastian was from 2014 to 2016 on an IBM International Assignment in Japan.
Sebastian is a mathematician and computer scientist by background, he graduated both in Mathematics (Cryptography) and Computing Science (Computational Mathematics) in 1997 and received his Doctorate Degree in Mathematics (Number Theory) from the University of Tübingen in 2001. Sebastian has published multiple books and owns several patents.
Sebastian enjoys running marathons in his leisure time. He is married and has two daughters and three sons.

As the Regional President for Software AG APJ, Schulz is responsible for spearheading Software AG’s business operations, expanding the partner ecosystem, and driving growth and revenue across the region. The youngest regional president in Software AG’s history, she brings to her role more than 10 years of sales and management experience in the technology sector across markets.
Since joining Software AG in 2011, Schulz has held senior leadership roles across Europe and Asia Pacific and Japan – including most recently serving as Software AG Asia’s Vice President. Under her leadership, Software AG in Asia consistently grew over 30%, making it one of the most successful regions in the world for the company. Schulz has also been appointed as a member of Project Helix .Helix is a new strategic direction of Software AG to accelerate revenue growth while both achieving higher recurring revenue and maintaining high profitability. As part of this strategy, the product portfolio will be focused on growth segments and Sales and Marketing activities in core markets will be increased. Prior to Software AG, Schulz was involved in sales and marketing in large information technology companies such as SAP, Siemens and Original 1 to name a few.
Jeffrey Tung, Ph.D.

Dr Jeffrey Tung received his Ph.D. in Chemical Enginnereing, Bio-engineering and Bio-process in 1997. He has 20 years’ experience in New Product and Application Development and has held 3M R&D leadership roles in 5 locations. Namely: Taiwan, China, Thailand, US and Singapore. Jeffrey is the winner of 6 Golden Step Ward and 5 Pathfinder Award within 3M.
He is serving as 3M Sustainability Leader in Asia, and is also 3M Global Technical Council and International Technical Operation Committee member.
Associate Vice President, Digital Transformation (DX), Future Enterprise, and SMB
Daniel provides strategic advisory services to the C-Suite (CIOs, CDOs, CMOs, CHROs and CFOs) on how to develop and leverage new business, technology (e.g. AI and Analytics, Cloud, Mobility, IoT) and operating models to become more competitive. He delivers workshops and strategic engagements for customers across Asia/Pacific such as assessing maturity, identifying gaps, crafting strategies and technology roadmaps, determining ecosystem readiness, metrics (KPIs), and skills required to drive growth and profitability.
Daniel leads a team of analysts across Asia/Pacific who provide thought leadership research and insights to technology buyers, suppliers and government institutions on the impact that the evolving market changes, and the new and established technologies have on their businesses.

P. Ramakrishna (Rama) has been involved with the tech domain for the last 35 years.
Rama was formerly with Singapore’s Infocomm Development Authority (now IMDA and GovTech), his last held position was Director of IDA’s Industry Development, responsible for national level initiatives to develop the tech industry ecosystem. He left in 2015 and became an advisor for several foreign countries to help develop their national tech masterplans.
In 2016 Rama joined CIO Academy Asia and is currently the CEO. CIO Academy builds CIO communities, sharing tech best practices and insights for C-level executives.
Rama is also the co-author of the recently published 'Intelligent Island: The Untold Story of Singapore's Tech Journey' which chronicles the development of Singapore's tech industry over the last 3 decades.
General Manager, Integration & API
Rupinder Singh has worked in the integration and BPM domain for more than 20 years with the majority of that experience in designing solutions with the webMethods suite. He has managed complex customer implementations across multiple domains and geographies. His areas of interest include designing performant applications for mission-critical applications and implementing continuous integration and delivery using webMethods. Rupinder formalized the approach and concepts for CI as well as authored a number of CI tools used with the webMethods Integration Server.

Jigar has substantial experience in helping customers with solutions to drive better operational efficiencies using middleware, process analysis and automation, in-memory and streaming analytics solutions. With more than 18 years of IT experience gained in providing business solution predominantly in Banking and Financial Services. Other verticals covered - Manufacturing and Government. Prior to Software AG, worked at Logica (now CGI) in solutions consulting capacity providing business solutions in Banking Space based on Enterprise Applications. Solution areas covered: Payments, Anti Money Laundering, Branch Automation and CRM, Multi-channel Automation.
Dr. Juliana Johari

Juliana Johari (JJ) has been with PETRONAS for over 8 years, involving in various roles and functions including Enterprise Risk Management and Organizational Transformation. She is the first PETRONAS’ Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certified member and has led various process simplification and optimization effort across PETRONAS. Her current role include leading BPM across PETRONAS, ensuring an integrated and cost optimized approach.
Dr Tobias Hartenstein
Senior Manager, IoT Technology Partners
Dr. Tobias Hartenstein is part of the IoT & Analytics product line, where he is responsible for the joint go-to-market and value proposition with Software AG’s technology partners. Tobias drives technology partnerships in the IoT space and develops roadmaps together with our internal product teams and partners.
He supports the partners to identify synergies, creates joint value propositions, and provides guidance and support in the early stages of technology partnerships to ensure success. He has also developed partner programs along the specific requirements of technology partners and drives growth of Software AG’s IoT partner ecosystem. Having worked in various IoT projects in the Automotive and Manufacturing industry, Tobias came to Software AG with a strong background in IT Management & Strategy Consulting.
Besides conceptual work on new digital business models based on IoT and cloud technologies, he was directly involved in the delivery in form of product management of IoT & cloud platforms and managing the enterprise architecture of the enterprises during their digital transformation. Before his career as consultant, Tobias was employed as team leader R&D. Tobias holds a Doctor of Science in Theoretical Physics.
