Redistribute workload to zIIP 

JOPAZ then redistributes the Java-compiled COBOL workloads to Java Virtual Machines (JVMs) running on IBM zIIP, freeing capacity on the General Processor. No code rewrites, code conversion, or developer retraining needed.  

Access data sources 

Maintain reliable access to Db2®, Adabas, VSAM files and sequential files on z/OS with optimized runtime support. Dynamic and static SQL access to Db2 continues seamlessly, while JOPAZ JDBC connectivity can allow you to redistribute up to 60% of Db2 workload to zIIP for compounded capacity optimization.
