Karl-Heinz Streibich *

Karl-Heinz Streibich, born in 1952, has been Chief Executive Officer of Software AG since September 2003.
In this role he is also responsible for the following functions: Corporate Communications, Global Legal, Global Audit, Processes & Quality, Global Partner Management, Corporate Office and Top Management Development.
Throughout his career, Karl-Heinz Streibich held various management positions in Information and Communication Technology. Among others he was Head of Marketing Operations of ITT Europe in the UK, General Manager of ITT’s German PC Division, Member of the Board of debis Systemhaus, as well as deputy Chairman of T-Systems where he was responsible for the merger of debis Systemhaus IT activities with Deutsche Telekom.
Karl-Heinz Streibich studied Communication Engineering in Offenburg and visited postgraduate courses at Harvard University, Stanford University and London School of Marketing.
He is a member of the Supervisory Board (Aufsichtsrat) at Dürr Dürr AG and at Deutsche Messe AG and holds several honorary positions including Member of the Presidency of the German IT Association BITKOM, Member of the Executive Committee of the regional economy initiative Frankfurt Rhein Main e.V., Co-Chairman of the working group “Innovative eGovernment services” within the framework of the German Chancellor’s IT summit and he is a co-founder of the German Software Cluster of Excellence.
Arnd Zinnhardt *

Arnd Zinnhardt, born in 1962, has been a member of the Management Board of Software AG since May 2002 and is responsible for the following departments: Finance, Controlling, Taxes, Treasury, Business Operations, Investor Relations, Mergers & Acquisitions and Global Purchasing. As Software AG Labor Director, he is also responsible for Human Resources.
Arnd Zinnhardt began his career in 1988 at Ernst & Young. In 1992, he successfully took his tax adviser examinations. He qualified as a certified public accountant (CPA) in 1994.
In 1998 Arnd Zinnhardt joined BDO AG in Frankfurt, where he became a partner. In 2001, he was appointed to Regional and Office Managing Partner Frankfurt at BDO AG.
Arnd Zinnhardt holds a degree in business administration from the University of Cologne.
Dr. Wolfram Jost *
Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
Dr. rer. nat. Wolfram Jost, born in 1962, has been a member of the Management Board of Software AG since August 2010 and is responsible for Research & Development.
Dr. Wolfram Jost studied business economics, majoring in economic information science and marketing, at the University of the Saarland, from October 1983 to April 1988. After graduation in 1988 he worked for the Institute of Economic Information Science (IWi) at the University of the Saarland, where his duties included supervising and holding classes, heading projects in the field of Computer Integrated Manufacturing and organizing scientific congresses.
Dr. Wolfram Jost completed his doctoral thesis at the Law and Economics Faculty at the University of the Saarland in November 1992 on the topic of "Computer-based CIM Planning - Conception and Realization of a Tool for Analyzing and Planning CIM Systems".
In 1992 Dr. Wolfram Jost joined IDS Prof. Scheer GmbH, Saarbrücken. Here he was initially the head of ARIS Product Development before taking over as the head of ARIS Product Strategy in 1998.
In 1994 he was promoted to a senior management position, a post he held until he was appointed to the Executive Board of IDS Scheer AG in 2000. He remained a member of the IDS Scheer Board until the takeover of IDS Scheer AG by Software AG had been completed.
Dr. Wolfram Jost has written numerous articles for books and magazines and has also (co)authored more than ten specialist books.
Robin Gilthorpe
CEO, Terracotta Inc.,

Robin Gilthorpe, born in 1967, became CEO of Terracotta Inc., a wholly-owned Software AG subsidiary, and a member of the Software AG Group Executive Board in September 2012.
Mr. Gilthorpe has many years of management experience in the IT industry. Before joining Software AG, he was senior vice president at Tibco Software Inc. where he was responsible for all customer-related activities including consulting, sales and after-sales support in the Americas. He also served in an advisory capacity on M&A strategy and implementation. Earlier in his career at Tibco, he managed all business activities in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific, Latin America as well as the global financial services business.
Some of his previous positions include vice president of sales at NEON and member of the board of directors at DataSynapse.
Robin Gilthorpe graduated with Honors from Lancaster University (England) in Economics and Italian. He also studied Econometrics in Bologna, Italy. He is a member of the National Association for Business Economics.
John “Jay” Johnson
President and CEO of Software AG North America

John “Jay” Johnson, born in 1966, joined the Group Executive Board in August 2012 with his appointment as President and CEO of Software AG USA, Inc. In this role, he is responsible for Software AG’s United States and Canadian business operations.
Jay Johnson brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in the IT industry to Software AG. He was previously with MicroStrategy where he served as Senior Vice President North America, implementing a new sales methodology which led to a dynamic increase in revenue and sustainable growth.
Mr. Johnson began his career in 1988 with Xerox Corporation. From there he joined OCE-USA in 1992 where he held several leadership positions. Later, he worked for Business Objects/SAP until 2009, progressing in the organization from Area Sales Director to Senior Vice President of Enterprise Sales and Operations.
Jay Johnson holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, graduating with honors, from Towson University and an MBA, also with honors, from Johns Hopkins University.
Darren Roos

Darren Roos, born in 1974, was appointed to the Group Executive Board (GEB) in August 2011 as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the EMEA region (excluding D/A/CH and Eastern Europe). As of April 2013, Darren’s responsibilities have expanded to include DACH, EE and Latam as part of his existing EMEA and APJ regions.
Darren joined Software AG in 2005 as the Sales Manager for South Africa. In 2006 his responsibility was extended to managing the entire operations in South Africa as well as those in Middle East and North Africa (MENA). Darren’s territory expanded further in 2008 as responsibility for Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Nordics and Russia was added. Since 2009 Darren served as Senior Vice President Sales for BeNeLux, Nordics and South Africa until 2011 where his appointment to the GEB was made.
After studying Law at the University of South Africa, Darren began his career in the ICT industry in Sales and Business Development with Redflag Communications and Dimension Data.
Arno Theiß

Arno Theiß, born in 1961, was appointed to the Group Executive Board in April 2013 as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Global Consulting Services. Besides this role, he is also General Manager of IDS Scheer Consulting GmbH, a wholly-owned Software AG subsidiary.
Arno Theiß joined Software AG in May 2006 as Vice President PS Operations. In 2007 his responsibility was extended to managing the newly founded company SAG Consulting Services GmbH,a Software AG subsidiary, as General Manager. In addition, he was appointed as Senior Vice President for PS Region West. As of mid-2012 Arno Theiß took over responsibility as Head of GCS Global Delivery.
Mr. Theiß has many years of experience in leadership positions and began his career at Bull, where he worked as Program Director for the Telecommunications department. Later he became Resource Manager for the DACH region at Integris (an IT-Service-unit of Bull-Group) where he successfully built up the “eSolutions” division. Finally, as managing director at Steria GmbH and as Board Member for Steria Mummert Consulting, he was mainly responsible for the telecommunication and transport industry as well as for outsourcing business.
Arno Theiß graduated in Business Administration at the University of Applied Sciences in Gießen.
Ivo Totev

Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)
Ivo Totev, born in 1967, was appointed to the Management Board of Software AG in March 2009. In August 2010, he moved to the Group Executive Board. Ivo Totev serves as Chief Marketing Officer with responsibility for global marketing and product marketing.
Ivo Totev has been with Software AG since 2005.
After graduating university in 1994 with a degree in Electrical Engineering, Ivo Totev began his career at Progress Software. Following that, he worked for Forté Software, where he assisted with the launch of their German operations. Later, he worked for Sun Microsystems, where he served as Technology Evangelist, responsible for the company strategy and vision in the Java market. Ivo Totev then worked for SAP AG from 2003 to 2004, where he was responsible for product marketing for the NetWeaver Developer platform.
