[13] Employees As of June 30, 2014, the average number of employees (part-time employees are taken into account on a pro rata basis only) by area of activity was as follows: In absolute terms (part-time employees are counted in full), the Group employed 4,753 (2013: 5,566) people as of June 30, 2014. In accordance with section 104, paragraph 1 of the German Stock Corporation Act, the Darmstadt regis­ tra­tion court resolved on June 26, 2014 to appoint Ms. Maria Breuing as Mr. Schley's successor to the Supervisory Board of ­Software AG for the remainder of his term.
