The fastest, most reliable way to build skills in StreamSets is with expert, instructor-led classroom training (ILT). This is a two-day hands-on training course providing a foundational understanding of the StreamSets platform.

- Use the StreamSets Data Collector (SDC) engine to create pipelines ingesting from multiple sources, manipulating the data, and delivering it to destinations like Apache Kafka and external databases.
- Configure and use the StreamSets Transformer engine to access various environments, transfer and transform data, run jobs, and monitor the performance of all your organization’s pipelines.
- Manage users, design, and share pipelines in the Pipeline Repository.

How it works
The training is dedicated to learning how to use StreamSets platform based on blended training contents (instructor-led training, ILT), demonstrations and case studies, and hands-on workshops and practical exercises).
Each participant will receive two days of StreamSets fundamental training.

Service results
The training is designed to start building skills on the use of the StreamSets platform and establish the basis for implementing projects successfully, and covers:
- Getting started with pipelines and jobs.
- Using a data collector such as JDBC, CDC, Snowflake, Kafka.
- Using transformers in pipelines, with Apache Spark, and some tuning.
- Managing pipelines including topologies, alerts, and subscriptions, installing packages, libraries and drivers and pipeline CI/CD.
- Extending the StreamSets platform with the REST API and script evaluators.
- Logging and troubleshooting for Data Collectors and Transformers.
