What is Adabas & Natural Community Edition

With the NaturalONE Eclipse®-based IDE, you can increase developer productivity, accelerate innovation, and participate in DevOps lifecycle and toolchains. The Natural programming language is so easy to learn, developers can be productive in a matter of days.
This community edition of Adabas & Natural lets you try out the NaturalONE development environment against Adabas & Natural running on a Docker container.
Containers are the key to making your applications available via the internet in on-premises, public, private and hybrid environments—allowing you to run your enterprise Adabas & Natural applications virtually anywhere.
The NaturalONE and Adabas & Natural Community Edition is useful for those who want to:
- Gain practical programming experience with Natural
- Get familiar with Adabas and Natural in a Docker container
The Adabas & Natural Community Editions can run on Windows 10/11 and Linux (x86/64 bit) platforms. As a prerequisite, a Docker Container compatible environment must be installed on these operating systems (e.g., Docker Community Edition).
The Docker images are deployed on Docker Hub y Software AG public registry.
