Short Customer Use Cases:

We want to hear you! Please prepare a 10 minutes presentation on your current process management activities with ARIS. Keep it simple - slides are not necessary but welcome. Think about:

  • What are you working on?
  • What are the goals/objects of that initiative?
  • What are your challenges (can be discussed in the mutual exchange of experience later that day)?
  • What did/will you achieve?
  • How many people are involved? Modelers vs consumers?
  • What does management think about your initiative?

Best Practice Session - Global roll-out of design standards
Turn your Enterprise Management System into success!

Reaching a high maturity and quality of the business concept at the design time is often challenging. There are many different application scenarios that imply specific requirements regarding “what” and “how” should be modeled and “which” additional information need to be provided and maintained. This leads to a variety of requirements – ranging from content completeness over syntax and semantics up to the visual representation – that are typically translated into design standards respectively modeling conventions! Three aspects are of major importance: (1) A global definition of individual filters and default templates, (2) an active and automated modeling support and (3) intelligent checks against individual modeling conventions. In this session, we will share best practices on the implementation of such design standards in ARIS and rolling them out to the modelers.

Open Discussion: Share your Experiences and Best Practices:

In this session, participants share experiences, best practices and discuss open questions with each other and Software AG. The idea is to learn from others that already faced similar challenges, and to get and share guidance.

Empower Engineers with Self-service Advanced Analytics to Improve Operational Performance

Companies are looking at digitalization to improve their profitability and maintain their market leadership. Many years of historical time-series data is underutilized & the data has a great hidden potential to improve operational performance. If all subject matter experts are empowered with analytics, especially those related to the product production processes, operational excellence can be speeded-up greatly.

In this presentation, we will explain how self-service analytics in the hands of process and asset experts can help continuously improve operational performance. Business users can analyze, monitor and predict process and asset performance within their operational context using pattern recognition and machine learning technology.

The use of TrendMiner is shown in a practical hands-on session and additionally through some typical customer use cases, covering key capabilities such as root cause analysis, recommender engine, early warnings, contextualization and knowledge capturing. These capabilities help engineers, control room personnel and plant managers to continuously improve operational performance through reducing the carbon footprint, increasing yield, improving plant safety, reducing downtime and predict maintenance.
